bio

I was born in Argentina somewhere in the middle of nowhere and raised in Spain from age five.
Having absorbed Latin American folklore and tango from a young age, I started becoming interested in jazz and flamenco as I was learning guitar. I learned from everywhere I could for a few years and played in different groups and projects in Spain, I moved to London in the spring of 2005 to pursue my musical career and vision.

Soon after, I founded 'Fernando's kitchen', a world fusion band mixing different styles like Flamenco, Jazz, Latin and Eastern sounds with a contemporary and unique approach. It was in this band where I started developing and defining my music.

For the last ten years I've been writing, arranging and directing Fernando's Kitchen, performing in prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera house, RichMix, Cambridge Junction, Royal Festival Hall, Cargo, Queen's Theatre (NYC), Joe's Pub (Manhattan legendary Jazz Hall) and many other stages all over the UK and Europe.
Fernando's Kitchen won the Lukas award for Best Alternative act of 2015.

Currently I'm working on my solo project as well as writing for a new exciting adventure, the new kitchen!
